Nick Crofts was created in 1978. Since this time Crofts has owned numerous Casio keyboards, cheap drum machines, broken cassette recorders, two pianos and many other sonic toys along the way. This was where his love for sound and music production began. After Graduating in sound and music from Liverpool University, Crofts began to build his own studio in north London ‘The Glove Box’, Now based in Berlin he continues to produce and explore his love for recording and composing contemporary and experimental music.

Crofts has spent the last 20 years specialising in composing music to picture. For TV, Film and theatre. Working on global projects with some of the biggest campaigns and brands. Alongside the commercial projects Crofts also records under the name 'Heart Years' A synth pop project based in Berlin.
